this album is a collection of jams recorded live with a drum machine, a few synths and some effects. most of these feature Roland's fantastic TR-8 drum machine. many of them feature some form of TB-303 clone/copy/re-imagining and several of them, perhaps the best ones, feature the Novation Bass Station II.

Roland's boutique D-05 (a modern version of the amazing D-50) can be heard on "A Clear Mind".

If I remember correctly, the Arturia Microfreak is on "13-8" though I didn't keep that synth very long, ha ha. This song is named after a road sign.

"3X300" was recorded at the highest tempo the TR-8 would do -- 300bpm -- though it does settle into a slower groove later on. that track in particular reflected how stir-crazy I was feeling during lockdown in 2020.

"Chains" in many ways is the odd track out. it was recorded with the Korg Volca Beats, Roland TB-3 (doing a melodic sound) and the Teenage Engineering PO-14 Sub.
